Are you an organised, enthusiastic individual looking to build a career in events? As Events Assistant at the RTPI, you'll be at the heart of delivering some of the planning profession's most high-profile events — from the Awards for Planning Excellence to the Young Planners' Conference. Connecting with members, sponsors, speakers and suppliers, you'll help bring people together around the issues that matter: housing, sustainability, and the future of our communities.

What you'll do
You'll play a key part in the delivery of high-profile events ensuring seamless delivery both online and in-person. Working closely with the national events team, you'll help deliver our strategy through events that inspire, educate and bring people together.

You are organised, keen, and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges. You can manage multiple tasks at once and enjoy working both independently and as part of a supportive team. You communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail, and are confident engaging with people from all backgrounds. An interest in events and a desire to deliver excellent experiences for our members are essential. Previous experience in events or with social media is helpful but not required; we welcome candidates keen to develop their skills and grow with us.
